Brand New Older Home. This is an older home that has been totally rehabbed. We started by removing all the interior walls then we tore out the plaster and all the insulation so you could see the back side of the new vinyl siding that was installed within the past 7 years. Then we tore out the entire electrical system and all the old plumbing. We removed the entire kitchen, cabinets, flooring, appliances and the preverbal kitchen sink. Demolished the bathroom. We filled three large dumpsters.
Then we went to work installing new new new. We reframed the interior walls, placed new Owens Corning R-13 craft backed insulation in all the outer walls and R-25 in the ceiling. We rebuilt the interior walls with 1/2" drywall and hand textured the ceilings. We installed new American Standard tub and shower enclosure as well as Cadet commode and American Standard modern pedestal sink with matching fixtures. The kitchen got new flooding, new plumbing, new Mills Craft cabinets and, of course, new sink and faucets. New lighting was installed everywhere with a ceiling fan in the gathering room. The interior wood are Masonite 6 panel colonial doors.
A new pressure treated wood 16' by 6' wood deck was added off the kitchen and the front 12' by 6' concrete porch has never paint white vinyl Williamsburg railing.
